Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire in Scotland is seeking a Nursing and Midwifery support role based at University Hospital Hairmyres. The post is permanent, 36 hours per week, and involves assisting with routine personal care and examinations under supervision.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure high quality patient care, maintain hygiene and safety, and support nurses and clinicians. Training and progression are provided through mandatory standards and NHS learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of personal care procedures.
• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.
• Undertake mandatory HCSW standards and induction.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned tasks delivering direct patient care under supervision.
• Maintain hygiene, order and safety in the ward/department.
• Report changes in patients' needs and document accurately.
