Job summary

Manor Park Care Home in Malton is seeking a dedicated Health Care Assistant for night shifts. Earn £14.95 per hour with the option of 22, 33 or 44 hours per week, on a 8pm–8am pattern. You will support residents with personal care, monitor wellbeing and document care while ensuring a calm, safe environment during the night.

We value compassionate, patient individuals who can work independently as part of a night team and provide companionship and reassurance to residents in the overnight hours.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential.
• Compassionate, patient and motivated to help others.
• Reliable and able to work independently as part of a night team.
• Confident supporting residents with dignity and professionalism.
• Willing to work 12-hour night shifts, including alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care, mobility and daily living needs during night shifts.
• Carry out regular wellbeing and safety checks.
• Assist residents who may require support during the night.
• Provide reassurance, companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain a calm, safe and comfortable environment for residents.
• Monitor wellbeing and report concerns promptly.
• Complete accurate care documentation and handovers.
