Job summary

Oakland Care in Eastbourne is seeking a compassionate Health Care Assistant to provide exceptional care to residents at Beechwood Grove, Eastbourne. You will help with personal care, mobility, meals, and creating a safe, warm environment.

This full-time role offers 40.25 hours per week, day shifts, and £13.20 per hour. Full training is provided; no prior experience is required. We value family-like care and teamwork within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must have a can-do attitude and be compassionate and caring.
• Be a true team player.
• Experience as Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Willingness to work night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent care and support to residents throughout the night.
• Assist with mobility, comfort and safety needs.
• Carry out regular checks and respond to night-time requirements.
• Keep accurate records and communicate effectively.
• Maintain a calm, reassuring environment for residents.
