Job summary

Oakland Care in Eastbourne is seeking a Health Care Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional care to residents. You will help with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, dressing and meals, and you will look after residents like family.

Qualifications

• Have can-do attitude and be compassionate and caring.
• Be a true team player.
• Experience as Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker is advantageous but not essential as training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent care and support to residents as part of night-time duties.
• Assist with mobility, comfort and safety needs.
• Carry out regular checks and respond to residents' night-time requirements.
• Keep accurate records and communicate effectively with the team.
• Maintain a calm, reassuring environment for residents.
