About the role: At Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau, an amazing opportunity is waiting for you as a casual Health Care Assistant (HCA) within our Bureau team. Bureau HCA’s play a critical role in covering sick calls, providing escalation support when additional capacity is needed, and filling staffing gaps in various wards to ensure continuous, uninterrupted care.
Health Care Assistants are our RNs right hand people. Assisting them with day-to-day tasks of caring for our patients, this is a unique opportunity for you to contribute to our vision of delivering quality patient care.
The successful applicant will get the opportunity to work with different patients and families supporting the nurses. As aHealth Care Assistantyou will be required to provide clinical care to our patients. Our new team member must also be highly organised, able to prioritise, have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy building relationships with our patients.
