Job summary

iCare24 is looking for compassionate Health Care Assistants (HCAs) to join our team. You will provide person-centred care, support daily living, and help preserve dignity, comfort and wellbeing for our service users.

The Role

As a Health Care Assistant with iCare24, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily living needs while ensuring their dignity, comfort, and wellbeing are always prioritised.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
• Supporting service users with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Assisting with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in service users' health and wellbeing.
• Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately.
• Promoting dignity, respect, privacy, and independence at all times.
• Following care plans, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
• Working collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Providing emotional support and companionship to service users.
