Job summary

Match Options (Hertford) is seeking compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join our agency team and work across care homes to deliver person-centred care.

As an HCA you will support residents with daily activities, mobility, meals, hygiene and observation, following care plans and safeguarding procedures; visa sponsorship is not offered. We do not guarantee sponsorship; many shifts may exceed 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Provide personal care and support with daily activities.
• Assist residents with washing, dressing, toileting and continence care.
• Support residents with mobility and transfers.
• Assist with meals and hydration.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Follow individual care plans and instructions from senior staff.
• Observe residents and report any changes in their condition.
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
• Follow safeguarding, infection-control and health & safety procedures.
• Work effectively with Senior Carers, Registered Nurses and other care staff.
• Promote residents' dignity, privacy and independence at all times.
