Job summary

iCare24 is seeking compassionate Health Care Assistants to support individuals with daily living needs, ensuring dignity and wellbeing. The role involves personal care, mobility support, meals, and documentation, with a focus on compassionate, person-centred care.

Candidates with a caring attitude and strong teamwork skills are encouraged to apply; training is provided where appropriate, and weekend shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance.
• Support with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Assist with meals, hydration and nutrition.
• Monitor and report changes in health and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate care records and report concerns.
• Promote dignity, respect, privacy and independence.
• Follow care plans, safeguarding procedures and health and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to service users.
