We are looking for an HCA to join our strong supportive team, delivering evidence-based, high-quality care in a suburban setting. We are a training practice with 8,300 patients and have an excellent local reputation, resulting in our list size continuing to grow. Our GPs and Nurses are actively supported by our friendly reception and administrative team. 8900 patients (mixed demographic)
Multidisciplinary team including a Physician Associate, 3 experienced Nurses, 2 Pharmacists, Social Prescriber and Health Coach.
Part of an effective and supportive primary care network.
Working under the direct supervision of the Practice Nurses and GPs and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, the post-holder will be responsible for performing venepuncture to obtain blood samples from patients only as the result of a direct referral from a GP or Practice Nurse; performing ECG recordings on patients referred from a GP; assessment and follow-up of patients referred from a GP for smoking cessation.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
