Job summary

Ashurst is seeking a care assistant to provide personal care and support to service users in line with care plans in the UK. You will assist with daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity, while collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Ideal candidates will have at least 6 months of UK care experience, a valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply), and refresher training in Moving and Handling and Basic Life Support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of recent UK-based care experience.
• A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply).
• Moving and Handling & Basic Life Support training (refresher can be arranged if expired).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to service users in line with care plans.
• Assist with daily living activities such as washing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
• Promote independence and dignity at all times.
• Record and report any changes in health or behaviour.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
