Job summary

A leading recruitment agency seeks a Health and Social Care Assessor for home and field-based roles in Leicester and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will assess learners towards their Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care and deliver Functional Skills training. A recognised Assessor award and experience in Apprenticeships are essential, along with a strong commitment to supporting and motivating learners. Flexibility in travel and a clean driving licence are necessary.

Qualifications

• Delivered Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 3.
• Experience with Maths and English Functional Skills delivery.
• Full clean driving licence and flexibility with travel.

Responsibilities

• Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships.
• Deliver training for Functional Skills Maths and English.
• Manage diary for timely visits and reviews.

Job Title:Health and Social Care Assessor

Location: Leicester and surrounding areas- Home/Field based (Must be flexible with travel)

Salary:£27,000 + an additional £5,000 OTE

Type:Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:

• Hold a recognisedAssessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA– but you do not need up to date assessing experience!
• Successful candidates must have experience of delivering Apprenticeships (Previously as Frameworks and looking to return to assessing – or more recently assessed New Apprenticeship Standards) in Health and Social Care at Level 3.
• Hold occupational competency in Health and Social Care (Elderly).
• Confident to deliver Mathsand English Functional Skills.
• Happy to conduct online remote assessments - and face to face when required
• Must have a good level of ICTskills
• Full, clean driving licenceand use of a vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel

Duties include:

• Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 3.
• Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Mathsand English to level 2.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
• Organiseand maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.

• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
