An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment Technician to join their team. In this dynamic role, you will provide essential advice on safety practices, ensuring compliance with statutory health and safety regulations. Your responsibilities will include developing safe systems of work, conducting training, and investigating workplace incidents. The role will be both office and site based providing advice to others on how to work without harming themselves or others. Technicians will work with management and delivery teams to advise on the statutory health, safety and environmental requirements as they affect the company’s operations. They will assist the management team in ensuring that the legal and company SHE requirements are implemented.
For this Thames Water scheme, duties may include:
Typical Working Week
40 hours p/w with start time typically between 07:00 & 08:00 inclusive of paid 8 hours at college.

Qualifications required/desirable
Minimum Requirements
English and Maths at GCSE Grade 3 / D or above, or Functional Skills at Level 1 or above.
Desired Requirements
The passion and commitment to work in water treatment. It will be advantageous if you already have previous related work experience and a SHEA Card, but certainly not essential.
Key Training/College Information
K10 will enrol you to the Level 3 Safety, Health & Environment Technician course and fund your qualifications through an accredited training provider.
The apprenticeship duration is 24 months.
