We have an exciting opportunity at Higgidy to join as a Health & Safety Manager! This role is will form a vital part of the Bakery Management Team and have ownership of all H&S matters. A successful candidate will have experience in implementing & delivering the H&S agenda for an organisation.

What will you be DOING?

• To work within Higgidy’s culture and values whilst supporting the Operational and Central leaders in delivering their energy, resources, and H&S responsibilities at source
• To deliver core elements of the objectives & KPIs for Higgidy and providing data for analysis.
• To work with teams and coach them in delivering Health and Safety Risk improvement strategies
• To maintain effective working relationships with key contacts, Higgidy managers and employees.
• Oversee health and safety audit programmes ensuring compliance with relevant policies in all areas of the business
• To work collaboratively with managers and their teams to ensure that all areas and activities are regularly risk assessed and that appropriate controls are in place and agreed action plans are followed to minimise risk
• Line management of H&S Advisor
