Jobbeschreibung

Health and Safety Manager required by a leading national hard facilities management company. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety professional to join a regional Health and Safety team, as part of a national team, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across Commercial, Public, Education, Manufacturing and other sector sites.

This is a hybrid role, with the majority of the work based across the M62 corridor. Other travel around the M6 corridor will also be required. The successful candidate will ideally be based in the North West as this is where the majority of clients are based.

You will play a key role in delivering the organisation's Health and Safety management, supporting operational teams including FM and mobile Engineers and ensuring the highest standards of compliance, governance and continuous improvement are maintained across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications

• NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent qualification).
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Suitable Experience

• Significant Health & Safety leadership experience within Hard Facilities Management preferred. Other similar operational environments can also be suited.
• Proven experience delivering Health & Safety across multiple sites or contracts.
• Strong understanding of Health and Safety legislation and best practice.
• Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders and influence operational decision-making.
• Experience undertaking audits, investigations, risk management and compliance reviews.
• Knowledge of ISO management systems, including ISO 45001, with exposure to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 desirable.
• A track record of improving safety performance and driving positive cultural change.
