Westland Horticulture Ltd is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to oversee safety and environmental practices at our Ellesmere Port site. You will support the General Manager in fostering a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and sustainability in manufacturing operations.

The role requires NEBOSH General Certificate, strong communication with authorities and teams, and a track record of implementing HSE best practices on a manufacturing floor.

Qualificações

• NEBOSH General Certificate is required.
• Proven ability to instill a strong safety culture in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance.
• Familiarity with safety audits and safety management systems.
• Excellent communication with government bodies and internal teams.

We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to oversee and enhance safety and environmental practices in Ellesmere Port. This role is critical in supporting our General Manager in fostering a strong culture of safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility. You will be a key driver in implementing HSE best practices to help the organisation remain compliant, efficient, and sustainable in its manufacturing operations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Health & Safety Promote develop a Safety Culture across Ellesmere port site
• Establish and maintain a robust safety culture across manufacturing units
• Conduct regular safety training sessions for all employees to promote safe work practices
• Develop and implement safety protocols, conduct audits, and ensure adherence to industry standards
• Oversee incident investigations and identify preventive measures

Skills and Qualifications

• Practical working knowledge of improving safety in a manufacturing environment with a NEBOSH general certificate
• Has developed a ''safety culture'' in an industrial setting
• Working knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance
