Job Description:

Our client, a global leader in manufacturing for the building and construction sector, is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Coordinator to oversee health and safety initiatives across five Northern UK sites (Cheshire, Yorkshire, County Durham). The role offers a base salary of £50,000 per annum, plus a £500/month car allowance, along with benefits like hybrid working, accredited training, private healthcare, life assurance, pension, and more.

The Coordinator will develop and implement health and safety policies, foster a strong safety culture, and ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001). Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, managing audits, and driving continuous safety improvements.

Requirements include proven experience in a health and safety leadership role within heavy industry or manufacturing, strong knowledge of ISO systems, NEBOSH certification, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
