Are you a committed Health and Safety Coordinator passionate about driving a culture of compliance and continual improvement? Do you want to work with a forward-thinking organisation dedicated to upholding the highest standards in health, safety, and environmental management? We are seeking a proactive and dynamic HSE Coordinator to join a growing business on a part-time basis. You will be the first point of contact for managers and colleagues, supporting the organisation in maintaining health and safety as a core focus, while working alongside external consultants to support delivery of company strategy, values, and policies.

Key Responsibilities - Health and Safety Coordinator:

Build and promote a strong culture of compliance across the business, driving continual improvement in employee health, safety, welfare, and environmental management.
Assist management with health and safety responsibilities and provide expert advice on current legislation, guidance, and best practice.
Facilitate and coordinate policy development and maintenance.
Provide hands-on support for risk reduction activities, facilitate risk assessments, and contribute to safe systems of work.
Manage compliance audits and ensure timely resolution of any non-conformances.
Arrange and facilitate health and safety training for staff, including first aid and fire safety.
Support investigations into incidents, accidents, near misses, and compliance breaches

What We’re Looking For - Health and Safety Coordinator:

NEBOSH Certificate
Experience in managing health and safety within a regulated environment (manufacturing preferred)
Strong communication skills and a confident influencer at all levels.
Ability to prioritise work loads
Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
Chemical hazard experience is a plus.
