Job Description:

We're looking for a Health and Safety Apprentice to join our Transportation team based in Northamptonshire, working towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in SHE Technician.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. While working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to apply your learnings in your daily role, helping you progress within your chosen career.

Location: Based in Northamptonshire at either the Brixworth, Wellingborough, or Towcester depot.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week.

How does an apprenticeship work?

As a Health and Safety Apprentice, you'll be enrolled onto a Level 3 apprenticeship in SHE Technician, giving you the opportunity to earn while you learn. You'll work closely with the Transportation team to design, build, and maintain infrastructure for sectors such as highways, rail, aviation, and ports, with the common goal of connecting people.

Your daily tasks will include:

1. Identifying potential hazards and reporting risks.
2. Checking that PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is being used correctly.
3. Assisting in maintaining accident records and incident reports.
4. Supporting health and safety officers in conducting site inspections.
