Health and Safety Advisor
Coventry | Hybrid
Salary up to £55,000

I'm currently working with a long-established and well-respected main contractor based in Coventry, who are looking to appoint a capable and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team.
With over 30 years in the industry, this contractor delivers a diverse range of projects - from minor works starting at £2,000 to complex builds up to £8 million - across commercial, residential, and public sector spaces.
This is a hybrid role, offering a great deal of flexibility, and ideal for someone with a solid grounding in construction safety, looking to take ownership of H&S practices across live sites and head office operations.

As a Health and Safety Advisor you will be:

As a Health and Safety Advisor you will be developing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) from the ground up - tailored to each project.
As a Health and Safety Advisor you will be ensuring full compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 - acting as the company's subject matter expert.
As a Health and Safety Advisor you will be supporting site teams in maintaining and exceeding ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards.
As a Health and Safety Advisor you will be conducting site inspections, audits, and post-incident investigations.
As a Health and Safety Advisor you will have:

As a Health and Safety Advisor you will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a dedicated Health & Safety role within the construction industry.
As a Health and Safety Advisor you will have a NEBOSH Construction Certificate OR NEBOSH General with significant CDM regulation experience.
As a Health and Safety Advisor you will have demonstrable ability to produce RAMS independently.
As a Health and Safety Advisor you will have hands-on knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards.
As a Health and Safety Advisor you will have a full UK driving license - you'll need to attend sites across the Midlands as needed.
Salary up to £55,000
