Job summary

Keys Education is seeking an exceptional Headteacher for Corbett House, Bromsgrove. The role leads educational vision, safeguarding, and wellbeing for pupils with complex needs within a trauma-informed framework.

You will drive curriculum design, manage resources, and foster collaborative partnerships across multiple sites. The post requires QTS, NPQH or equivalent, and a track record of strategic school improvement aligned with Independent School Standards.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a special or complex educational setting.
• Deep understanding of safeguarding and statutory duties.

Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain the school's ethos, strategic vision, and direction.
• Lead curriculum design and implementation to ensure a broad, coherent entitlement including vocational and therapeutic elements.
• Develop and support leaders and teaching staff through coaching and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with Independent School Standards and health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the governing body to provide strategic advice and governance reports.
