Job summary

Keys Education is seeking a Headteacher for Corbett House, Westonhall Road, Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove. The role leads the strategic and operational delivery of high-quality education and safeguarding for pupils with complex needs, promoting trauma-informed, therapeutic practice and the EPIC values.

The College operates two sites with potential site split from January 2027; QTS is required with NPQH or equivalent. Competitive salary £55,000–£75,000, full-time, 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a special school or complex setting.
• Deep understanding of safeguarding, Ofsted standards, and independent school duties.
• Commitment to Nolan Principles and professional conduct.
• Ability to develop and implement a clear strategic plan for improvement.
• Strong safeguarding and welfare focus for children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain the school's ethos, vision, and direction.
• Lead curriculum design to ensure a broad and coherent entitlement.
• Develop subject leaders and staff through coaching and professional development.
• Maintain high expectations for pupil behaviour and relationships.
• Ensure effective pastoral care and collaboration with families and external agencies.
• Oversee resources, staffing, finance, and compliance with regulations.
