Compass Community Schools is seeking a Headteacher to lead a nurturing, close-knit team and coordinate a holistic curriculum prioritising pupils' needs. You will work with professionals to drive authentic leadership and secure strong outcomes.

You’ll balance strategic leadership with teaching responsibilities, committing to safeguarding, staff development and a trauma-informed approach that supports SEMH and SEND learners across our school network.

Qualifications

• QTS required with a proven track record of good or outstanding teaching practice.
• Experience with SEMH & SEND, crisis-management, and managing behaviour that challenges.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of a holistic curriculum centred on pupils’ needs.
• Lead and manage your staff team and deliver authentic leadership.
• Deliver teaching (0.4 of timetable) and inspire change within the school.
