Job summary

Compass Community Schools is seeking a Headteacher in the UK to lead a nurturing team and deliver a holistic curriculum centered on pupils’ needs. You will manage staff, partner with professionals, and provide authentic leadership that inspires real change. Teaching responsibilities comprise 0.4 of the timetable.

The ideal candidate holds QTS and has experience with SEMH & SEND, crisis-management, and delivering Maths/English to GCSE level with vocational options.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status with a proven record of good or outstanding teaching.
• Experience working with children with SEMH & SEND, understanding crisis-management and challenging behaviour.
• Ability to teach Maths and/or English to GCSE level, with experience in delivering vocational BTEC, Functional Skills or ELC courses.
• Experience designing and delivering creative, engaging curriculums with strong networking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of a holistic curriculum placing pupils' needs at the centre of learning.
• Lead and manage staff, delivering authentic leadership to inspire and drive change.
• Deliver teaching, 0.4 of the timetable as Headteacher.
• Work with professionals, parents, and local authorities to secure outstanding outcomes.
