An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional individual to take on the role of Headteacher at a forward-thinking, values-driven primary school and nursery. The Role

As Headteacher, you will provide dynamic leadership and strategic direction, building on the school’s strong foundations to drive continuous improvement. Your key focus will be to uphold high standards of teaching and learning, promote wellbeing across the school community, and lead with integrity, creativity and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a clear vision for the school’s future, aligned with best educational practice.
• Foster a culture of aspiration, innovation, inclusion and continuous improvement.
• Inspire and support staff to grow professionally and collaboratively.
• Promote a safe, calm, and purposeful environment rooted in safeguarding and exemplary behaviour.
• Champion diversity and equality, ensuring all pupils and staff feel valued, respected and supported.
• Embed effective systems and processes that enhance school performance and transparency.
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, the wider community and external agencies to enhance outcomes for all learners.
• Contribute to the wider educational landscape through collaboration and shared best practice.

What We’re Looking For

We seek a leader who can demonstrate:

• Qualified Teacher Status and ideally NPQH (or willingness to undertake it).
• Experience in EYFS and at least one other primary key stage.
• A successful track record of school leadership at senior level, with evidence of raising standards and driving improvement.
• A deep understanding of safeguarding, SEND provision, inclusive education and child wellbeing.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, resources and change effectively in a complex setting.
• Inspirational communication skills and a collaborative leadership style.
• Commitment to community engagement and building inclusive partnerships.
