A brand new, independent SEN School in the Borough of Ealing is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support students on a full-time basis. This position commences ASAP.

This fantastic provision offers a child-centred approach for pupils aged 5-11 years with ASD and SLD. The curriculum is specifically designed to equip students with the skills needed for adult life, adopting a holistic understanding of development.

Within the HLTA position, you will be responsible for directing the classroom, covering classes in a wide range of subjects for PPA, and require strong behaviour management skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your experience and assist the social, emotional, and academic development of children.

Job Description

Higher Level Teaching Assistant Permanent, Full-Time contract starting ASAP Working closely with Class Teachers to plan and deliver differentiated lessons on the Equals Curriculum Supporting students with SEND (ASD and SLD) daily Covering lessons in the absence of Class Teacher in a range of subjects Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 £130 per day Based in the Borough of EalingSCHOOL DETAILS

Independent SEN School for students aged 5-11 years (ASD, SLD) Classes of 8 students and 4 members of staff Brand new facilities catered to SEND students - 2 new classrooms being added Child-centred approach through tailored curriculum to support all students accordingly Strong focus on British Values as well as social and cognitive development Committed SLT focused on preparing children for adulthood in relation to employment, independent living, and morePERSON SPECIFICATION
