East Midlands Councils/East Midlands Jobs is seeking a new Headteacher to take the school into its next chapter, building on the strong story so far and continuing the journey with energy and purpose.

The successful candidate will be an inspirational, values-led leader who will embrace and further develop our distinctive Christian ethos, with strategic vision to build on strengths and lead with confidence in governance, staff and pupils.

Due to the retirement of our Headteacher we are looking for a new Headteacher to take us in to our new chapter, to build on the strength of our school story so far and to continue our journey.

We are looking for:

• An inspirational and values-led leader who will embrace and further develop our distinctive Christian ethos.
• A strategic thinker with the vision and ambition to build on our strengths and lead the school confidently.
• An excellent classroom practitioner with a strong understanding of high-quality teaching, learning and curriculum development.
• A visible, approachable and compassionate leader who can inspire, develop and support staff.
• Someone who will build excellent relationships with children, staff, parents and carers, Governors, the Church and wider community.
• Commitment to ensuring inclusion, addressing diversity and access, and removing barriers to learning and achievement for all pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
• Someone with the leadership and management skills to use the school’s people, resources and finances effectively.
