Integrity Education Solutions Limited is recruiting a Headteacher to lead a brand-new specialist school in the West Midlands, opening in 2027. The role covers pre-opening strategy through to full operation, with a focus on SEMH provision and safeguarding excellence.

You will shape curriculum, governance, and partnerships, building a high-performing team and leading the registration and commissioning processes. An inspiring, resilient leader is sought.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent is required.
• NPQH or working towards is preferred.
• Senior leadership experience in SEN/SEMH is essential.
• Strong safeguarding and inclusion understanding is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and launch of the new specialist school with a clear vision.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership across education, safeguarding, and pastoral care.
• Lead registration, commissioning and pre-opening processes with stakeholders.
• Build and develop a high-performing SEN/SEMH education team.
• Ensure high-quality teaching and personalised provision for SEMH needs.
• Establish safeguarding, wellbeing and regulatory compliance systems.
• Drive continuous school improvement and strong pupil outcomes.
• Engage families, Local Authorities and wider stakeholders.
