Job summary

Kedleston Group is launching a specialist school in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, opening in 2027. You will lead the pre-opening phase, shaping the vision, curriculum design and stakeholder engagement to set the foundation for excellence in SEMH education.

Once operational, you will build a high-performing SEN/SEMH team, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver exceptional outcomes for children with autism and related needs. QTS or NPQH and senior leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in SEN/SEMH settings.
• Proven ability to lead curriculum design and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience supporting children with autism spectrum conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pre-opening phase: shaping vision, curriculum design and registrations.
• During operation, develop a high-performing SEN/SEMH team and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Deliver outcomes for children with SEMH needs and those with autism spectrum conditions.
