Welcome to The Londoner, a chic boutique hotel in the heart of Leicester Square, offering a range of spaces, tastes, textures, and experiences across 15 floors. We are seeking hospitality professionals eager to elevate their careers and provide exceptional service in London's first 'Super Boutique' hotel.At The Londoner, we are committed to being the best place to work, recognized as a Great Place to Work, with a focus on employee wellbeing and development.

We are currently recruiting for the position of The Residence Head Waiter/ess. The Residence comprises three beautifully designed spaces for hotel residents: The Y Bar, The Drawing Room, and The Whisky Room, each curated to meet our guests’ leisure and work needs.

Overview:

  • A rare opportunity to join The Residence as a Head Waiter/ess.
  • Responsible for achieving revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction goals through upselling and excellent service.
  • Lead the Bar operations team to ensure guest and staff satisfaction in a motivated environment.
  • Exceed guest expectations by seeking feedback and evaluating service levels.
  • Develop and implement strategies for continual improvement with the management team.

About You:

  • Deep knowledge of London’s restaurant and liquor trends; experience with afternoon teas and champagne is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership, ownership of tasks, and coaching skills.
  • Current supervisory experience in a similar environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding departmental targets with attention to detail.
