At Island Veterinary Associates, we're seeking a Head Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team on a temporary basis for a 12-month mat cover contract. In this role, you’ll be based at our recently refurbished site in central Stafford, specifically at our Wombourne practice.

Rota Patterns That Work for You

Ideally, we’re looking for someone to work 40 hours per week over 4 days, along with 1:4 Saturdays (time in lieu given back). There’s no out of hours or on-call required, and we can support part-time applicants as well.

We are a friendly team that works well together. Our fantastic team is composed of 4 Vets, 5 RVNs, 2 SVNs, and 6 support staff. The practice offers access to an excellent array of equipment that includes a full IDEXX lab and a top-of-the-range ultrasound machine.
