Job Description:

We are now recruiting for a Vet Surgeon to join the team at a first opinion small animal practice in the Lichfield area of Staffordshire.

• Excellent full-time permanent role working 40 hours a week with no OOH.
• Practice is purpose-built and fully equipped with excellent facilities.
• Role would suit a vet with a minimum of 2 years experience.
• Ideally, you will already be confident with routine surgical and medical cases and comfortable with some sole charge.
• Join a Vet team with interests in soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, and internal medicine.
• CPD funding and certificate study supported.
• RCVS and VDS fees paid.
• Super location in the cathedral city of Lichfield near Birmingham with great transport links, free on-site parking, good local amenities, and nearby Staffordshire countryside.

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
• Minimum 2 years+ experience
• Routine small animal surgical and medical skills
• Comfortable with some sole charge
