Job summary

Vets Now Stirling is expanding with an out-of-hours clinic and seeks a Head Veterinary Nurse to lead the nursing team. You will mentor staff, oversee clinical care and ensure excellent patient outcomes while delivering outstanding client service.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of a veterinary nursing team.
• Current RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse status.
• Strong client communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with rota management and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and inspire the nursing team in a fast-paced out-of-hours clinic.
• Guide colleagues through diverse cases while maintaining high patient care standards.
• Carry out management duties and attend regular team meetings.
• Support the Vet Surgeons and Clinic operations to ensure exceptional client service.

Working out of our host practice, Bruceview Veterinary Clinic, an RCVS accredited animal hospital, you’ll be joining a highly experienced team of Vets and Nurses as they provide a vital out of hours service to the local community.
