Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to excel, while driving restaurant performance and achieving excellent results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating a positive, caring environment that celebrates success and nurtures talent.
  • Ensuring an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skill development.
  • Maintaining spotless food, health, and safety standards; understanding financial aspects such as gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
  • Building a coaching culture, recruiting, and supporting ongoing team development.
  • Being a proactive problem solver, making quick decisions when necessary.

  • Experience leading a kitchen team, with a focus on performance and positive behaviour in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with a caring approach that ensures your team feels supported.
  • Experience maintaining high standards in food safety and health standards.
  • Financial acumen in managing kitchen costs, GP, and stock control.
  • Ability to manage labour costs and adapt to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams, fostering inclusivity and respect.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and effectively.
