Job summary

Vets for Pets Telford is seeking a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to lead our friendly team in a well-equipped practice featuring in-house lab, digital x-ray, ultrasound and more. The role offers 40 hours per week with some weekend work (1 in 4 Saturdays), no Sundays or out-of-hours duties, and a strong focus on wellbeing and staff development.

You will work alongside four vets and a skilled nursing team in a nurse-training practice, with opportunities for CPD, clinical coaching and career

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership role with clinical coaching is ideal.
• Solid all-round clinical nursing skills and patient care.
• Strong organisational abilities and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Take a lead nursing role within the team and coach junior staff.
• Manage nursing shifts, especially prep/theatre duties and nurse clinics.
• Deliver high standards of patient care with excellent customer service, and participate in nursing staff development.
