Vets for Pets is seeking a Head Veterinary Nurse to lead and develop our nursing team in a forward-thinking small animal practice, empowering RVNs, SVNs and VCAs to thrive. You will report to Joint Venture Partners, enjoy a varied caseload including theatre, radiography, dental procedures, inpatient care and nurse-led clinics, and work a 40-hour week with a 1 in 4 Saturday rota.
We provide 100% small animal care, modern equipment and strong CPD support to help you deliver outstanding patient
Formación
- Lead and develop the nursing team to deliver outstanding patient care.
- Mentor RVNs, SVNs and VCAs to grow professionally.
- Demonstrate compassion, teamwork and commitment to animal welfare.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and high standards of care.
- Support the team in providing excellent client service.
- Ability to work in a busy, supportive environment.
Responsabilidades
- Lead and support a nursing team of RVNs, SVNs and VCAs.
- Work closely with Joint Venture Partners for mentorship and reporting.
- Oversee theatre and anaesthesia, radiography and dental procedures.
- Manage inpatient care and nurse-led consultations/clinics.
- Handle general nursing duties and maintain high welfare standards.
