Job summary

Aqua Restaurant Group is hiring a Head Receptionist to lead the front-of-house team at our London venue on Level 33 of The Shard. This fixed-term contract runs until 1 January 2027, with responsibilities spanning guest welcome, reservations, and team guidance to ensure a smooth operation.

Exceptional guest service skills, team leadership, and clear communication are essential as you support the Reception Manager and contribute to a memorable dining experience for guests at Aqua venues.

Qualifications

Head Receptionist

This is a Fixed Term Contract until the 1st of January 2027. As our Head Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive the warmest of welcomes and supporting the Reception Manager in guiding the team and running a smooth operation.

Situated on Level 33 of The Shard, the UK's tallest building, Hutong delivers an exceptional Northern Chinese dining experience with stunning views of London.

Your Day At Aqua

• Lead by example: Support the reception team, ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and exceptional service
• Handle guest relations: Manage reservations, address guest inquiries, and resolve any issues with professionalism and care, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for guests and the team
• Team building: Assist supervisors and management with developing the team

You will be paid £12.71 per hour. In addition, you can be a part of the venue’s Tronc system, which may give you up to £4.00 extra per hour. The Tronc system is managed by the Tronc Master.
