Job summary

Aqua Restaurant Group is a collection of restaurants and bars with a flagship in The Shard, London. We seek a Head Receptionist to welcome guests, supervise the reception team, and ensure seamless operations across venues.

You will lead the front desk, manage reservations, address guest inquiries, and work with the Reception Manager to run a smooth operation, supporting staff development and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or reception preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example for the reception team.
• Handle guest relations, reservations, inquiries, and issue resolution.
• Assist supervisors/management with team development.

As our Head Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive the warmest of welcomes and supporting the Reception Manager in guiding the team and running a smooth operation.

Your day at Aqua:

• Lead by example: Support the reception team, ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and exceptional service
• Handle guest relations: Manage reservations, address guest inquiries, and resolve any issues with professionalism and care, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for guests and the team
• Team building: Assist supervisors and management with developing the team

You will be paid £12.71 per hour. In addition, you can be a part of the venue’s Tronc system, which may give you up to £4.00 extra per hour. The Tronc system is managed by the Tronc Master.
