Nuffield Health Newcastle Hospital is seeking a Head Porter to lead the Portering Team and ensure smooth daily operations across the site.

You will manage rotas, annual leave, training, and performance; coordinate the safe transport of patients, equipment and supplies; assist with building security, emergency procedures, and on-site pathology and imaging support. The role is based at Jesmond, focusing on safety and high service standards.

• Ensure compliance with health & safety, infection control, and data protection requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and complete all required documentation.

Nuffield Health Newcastle Hospital Located in Jesmond; you will be working at one of the north easts leading private hospitals, with a Good CQC rating, we have 27 en-suite private bedrooms, 3 state-of-the-art operating theatres, a dedicated breast care unit. We offer on-site pathology services and diagnostic imaging including CT and MRI, to help patients after surgery we have on-site physiotherapy specialists. We have a special focus in the areas of orthopaedics, spinal surgery, ophthalmology, weight loss surgery and cosmetic treatment.
