Job summary

Blenheim High School seeks a dedicated Form Tutor to support and enhance the progress and wellbeing of students within the year group. The role involves working closely with the Assistant Headteacher – Inclusion Lead to engage families, monitor attendance, and provide pastoral support across subjects.

The successful candidate will lead assemblies, promote high standards, track progress with data, and partner with SEND to deliver cohesive support plans for vulnerable students.

Responsibilities

• Raise aspirations of vulnerable and pupil premium students.
• Improve attendance and punctuality in the year group.
• Be a contact for students and families on personal matters affecting learning.
• Support Heads of Department to help underachieving students catch up (Maths, English, Science).
• Lead and deliver assemblies and monitor student progress and wellbeing.
• Ensure school uniform is worn correctly and follow safeguarding procedures.
• Attend weekly pastoral meetings and contribute to safeguarding communication.
