About Us

Stretching across Northern, Eastern and Mid Devon, we have a workforce of over 15,000 staff, making us the largest employer in Devon. Role Summary

As part of a leadership restructure we are seeking an outstanding Head of Transformation to lead the day to day delivery of our wide ranging programme of transformation and improvement work.

You will provide leadership and direction to the Transformation Team, planning work, managing team resources, and ensuring delivery of strategic priorities. You will work closely with operational teams across the organisation to understand their needs and requirements and to develop programmes of work that meet Trust requirements. You will champion a culture of improvement and transformation – inspiring and supporting colleagues to build confidence and to trial new ways of working. You will celebrate successes and share learning to inspire further innovations.

  • A strong track record of delivering measurable outcomes, improving processes, and managing change.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale transformation or improvement programs within healthcare.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to motivate teams and foster an inclusive culture.
  • The ability to balance long-term vision with short-term objectives and operational delivery.

Working Pattern:37.5 hours/week Monday - Friday (Flexible/Hybrid working available)

Pay:The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2025/6 rates, inclusive of a 3.6% pay award which will be implemented later this year. If you join before the implementation date, the pay award will be backdated to your start date. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 2024/5 pay bandings (Pay scales for 2024/25 | NHS Employers)
