Job summary

Morgan McKinley is partnering with a growing multi-entity organisation in Northamptonshire to recruit a Head of Transactional Finance. The role oversees AP, AR, Billing and Credit Control and leads purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash across entities.

The successful candidate will drive working capital performance, strengthen controls, and shape the function through process improvements and systems enhancements, while coaching a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading transactional finance, finance operations or shared-services.
• Proven ability to optimise end-to-end AP/AR, billing and credit control.
• Track record of driving working capital improvements and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead AP, AR, Billing and Credit Control teams across multiple entities.
• Own purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash processes end-to-end.
• Drive cash collection, debtor days and working-capital performance.
• Strengthen financial controls and robust processes.
• Identify opportunities to standardise, automate and improve transactional workflows.
• Support finance systems improvements and technology.
• Manage integration of acquired businesses into central finance processes.
• Coach and develop the transactional finance team.
