Dignity plc is seeking a high-impact Head of Transactional Finance in the UK to lead and modernise our transactional finance operations across AP, AR, and Treasury. You will shape strategy, drive automation and strengthen controls while staying closely involved in day-to-day processing when needed.
You will mentor a team, deliver performance reporting to senior stakeholders and partner with IT and Finance to optimise systems and processes.
Are you an accomplished transactional finance leader who can balance strategic transformation with a genuinely hands-on approach? We are looking for a forward-thinking Head of Transactional Finance to lead, modernise and optimise our transactional finance operations. With responsibility across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury and associated activities, you will play a pivotal role in creating an efficient, controlled and high-performing finance function. This is more than a traditional leadership position. You will set the strategic direction, drive automation and process improvement, develop team capability and strengthen financial controls. Just as importantly, you will stay close to day-to-day operations and be prepared to step in personally when additional support is needed. You will bring significant experience of managing transactional finance operations, supported by strong operational knowledge across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Treasury.
A professional finance qualification, such as ACCA or AAT, would be desirable but is not essential.
