Job summary

NHS England is seeking a Consultant with a strong interest in medical education and training to be the Training Programme Director for Old Age Psychiatry in the Thames Valley area.

The successful candidate will drive the overall delivery of the training programme, lead in learner supervision and assessment, and advance educational outcomes while strengthening multi-professional collaboration across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the Training Programme Director role for Old Age Psychiatry across the Thames Valley region.
• Improve learner supervision, assessment and experience and engage faculty to ensure high educational outcomes.
• Promote whole workforce transformation and develop multi-professional links across the service.
