Job summary

NHS England (Thames Valley Office, South East Region) seeks a Consultant with a strong interest in medical education to be Training Programme Director for Core Psychiatry. The post focuses on delivering the Core Psychiatry training programme across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire and improving learner supervision, assessment and experience.

You will work with the Head of School to enhance educational outcomes, engage faculty and foster multi-professional links, aligning with NHS

Qualifications

• Senior NHS consultant with a strong interest in medical education and training across the region.
• Proven ability to lead education programmes, supervision and assessment.
• Experience in multi-professional training environments and workforce development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Core Psychiatry training programme across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
• Lead learner supervision, assessment and experience; drive educational outcomes.
• Engage and develop faculty, coordinate with the Head of School and support workforce transformation.
