Job summary

NHS England is recruiting a GP Training Programme Director (TPD) for Windsor, to lead the GP training educational programme with strong clinical and educational leadership. The role requires active GP practice, engagement with faculty, and delivery of teaching and assessment.

The TPD will support the Head of School, work across health and social care, and ensure high-quality educational outcomes while aligning with NHS England mandates. Travel within the Thames Valley is expected.

Qualifications

• GP with MRCGP and active clinical practice or recent equivalent.
• Experience in medical education and CPD activities.
• Proactive educational leadership across multi-professional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support GP Training Programme delivery and educator teams.
• Prepare and deliver teaching, mentor GP residents, and participate in assessments.
• Coordinate with Heads of School and Postgraduate Dean for programme outcomes.
• Travel within Thames Valley region for development days and conferences.
