Early Years Wales is seeking a strategic Head of Training, Learning & Development to lead all training outputs. You will influence the operational plan, manage Welsh language improvement targets, and drive self-evaluation for continuous improvement.

The role leads partnerships with freelance associates, coordinates contracts, and steers projects end-to-end while shaping a comprehensive learning strategy for the Early Years workforce.

Qualificações

• Experience writing learning/training materials for the early years workforce.
• Experience managing local authority / Welsh Government / externally funded projects.
• Experience working with disparate teams in education settings.
• Experience working or volunteering in early years settings.
• Understanding links between play and child development, including the first 1000 days.
• Quality assurance of training.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, plan, and implement a learning/training programme for the Early Years workforce.
• Identify current and future learning needs within the Early Years workforce.
• Monitor and evaluate learning/training delivery.
• Coordinate freelance Training Associates on an assignment-by-assignment basis.
• Create online training opportunities.
• Set up, monitor and evaluate booking systems.
• Lead strategic delivery of learning/training projects.
• Create a project plan with timelines, resources and milestones.
• Coordinate contract process with Chief Executive approval.
• Maintain and extend the in-house training portfolio.
