A leading drama school in the UK is seeking a Head of Theatre for Community & Education (Maternity Cover) to plan and deliver an innovative MA course. This role is essential for providing high-quality tuition and support to students, ensuring their development is aligned with community needs. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams and be responsible for the overall academic direction of the course. A passion for theatre education and community engagement is essential, along with a strong background in the arts.

The Head of Theatre for Community & Education is a key member of Mountview’s academic team, responsible for the planning and delivery of the MA in Theatre for Community & Education course.
Reporting to the Head of Postgraduate Training, and working closely with the Director of Learning & Teaching and senior staff in the Postgraduate, Undergraduate, Production and Participation teams, the post holder will ensure that students receive the highest possible levels of tuition, guidance and support, and that tuition is responsive to students’ individual development and the needs of the participatory arts sector.
Salary: Circa £42 - £43K per annum, depending on experience
