Job summary

BUUK Infrastructure is seeking a Head of Technology Services to lead end-to-end technology service delivery across the organisation. You will shape the strategy, operating model and roadmap, and drive improvements in service performance, colleague experience and operational resilience.

You will oversee Service Desk, Rapid Development & Support, and IT administration, ensuring secure, compliant and value-driven services while collaborating with Cyber Security, Infrastructure and Data Protection

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in information technology, business, engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent substantial professional experience.
• Recognised service-management qualification such as ITIL 4 Foundation or higher.
• Evidence of continuing professional development in technology leadership, service management or organisational change.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, operating model, roadmap and performance of Technology Services.
• Lead the managers responsible for Service Desk and Rapid Development & Support, providing direction and accountability.
• Establish effective demand, incident, request, problem, change, knowledge, service-level and continual-improvement practices.
• Improve colleague and customer experience by reducing hand-offs and accelerating resolution.
• Translate business needs into prioritised service improvements and practical solutions.
• Ensure services are secure, resilient, and compliant in collaboration with Cyber Security and Architecture.
