Job summary

TAIT seeks a Director of Technical Direction, Fixed to lead and grow the Fixed Technical Direction team, ensuring high quality, safe and commercially effective delivery across projects from design through handover.

The role partners with market leadership to translate strategy into priorities for capability, staffing and process, shaping TAIT’s technical evolution across multiple locations with regular travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in technical direction or delivery, with leadership of technical teams.
• Proven track record delivering complex fixed installations or venues.
• Broad technical knowledge across automation, rigging, AV, lighting, electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Fixed Technical Direction strategy, team development and resourcing.
• Represent Tech Direction within Fixed Market leadership and align with market strategy.
• Shape operating model, role expectations, and cross-functional handoffs.
• Define the Technical Direction strategy for fixed work and interface with other teams.
• Sponsor standards and training for high quality, safe delivery.
