Job summary

CPR is recruiting a Lead Technical Assurance Manager for a major High Speed Rail programme in the UK. The role focuses on system-level assurance, coordinating across multiple workstreams and contracts, and ensuring evidence-based verification and validation to support final authorisation.

You will lead Senior Technical Assurance Managers, interact with engineers, commercial teams and external stakeholders, and drive improvements to assurance processes in a complex, data-centric environment.

Qualifications

• Background in technical assurance, quality assurance or systems engineering on major infrastructure or rail programmes.
• Experience at programme level across multiple contracts and disciplines.
• Knowledge of V lifecycle from requirements to verification & validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Technical Assurance Managers across contracts and workstreams.
• Assess and classify assurance submissions from supply chain and project teams.
• Develop and improve assurance processes with the Head of Technical Assurance.
• Interface with stakeholders including ORR, Network Rail and Transport for London.
